"O My Sweet Mother Radha ! Make Me Free From All Worldly Hindrances"

“O My Sweet Mother Radha ! When you come closer to Shri Krishna, His color turns into green from sky-blue by the projection of your golden colored complexion and His face starts shining as if millions of lotuses have blossomed ....O Mother ! Be pleased and make me free of all worldly hindrances which are obstructing my spiritual advancement.”

Bhakti (devotional bhakti and Divine bhakti)

Bhakti is the recognition of our sweet relationship with Krishn. It directly relates to God Krishn Who is beyond maya. That is why bhakti is called nirgun. It is very simple to understand that God realization or the Grace of God is absolute, and there cannot be absolute or unlimited quantity of continuous sattvic actions with no negativity. There is only one way. Just ask Him with full 100% faith in Him and He will bestow His Grace upon you. This faith, love, remembrance, asking and humbleness is called bhakti.
When you have faith in someone, you begin to like him. When you like him more, you begin to love him. When you love him, you like to serve him. When you serve him you become humble and like to be near him, and all that ends up into deep affinity. A true affinity has no demands and no requisites. There is only one desire to love him and to serve him and to make him happy, because you feel happy in his happiness. Such feelings for Radha Krishn is bhakti.

Krishn says that whatever is the outcome of all kinds of devotional asceticism and selfless Vedic rituals, the outcome of yogic practices, the outcome of sattvic charity and social work, the outcome of any kind and any amount of religious practice, or any kind of good work or Godly work (dharm) whatever it could be, is all received throughbhakti. He further says that the sattvic virtues like, renunciation, detachment from worldly attractions and attachments, and practical knowledge of soul’s eternal relationship with Krishn (gyan, vairagya) etc., are all the natural outcome of bhakti.
Ved Vyas says that a Krishn devotee receives things which are beyond imagination. The devotee experiences the ever-increasing and ever-new love of Radha Krishn, experiences Their close proximity, experiences Radha Krishn’s personal love, and desires to serve Their bhaktas of Golok and Vrindaban abode. This is called rag, Radha Krishn love, Divine love, ras, or Vrindaban Bliss. This is also received through bhakti.

It is beyond imagination that Krishn could become a personal friend of yours in Divine Golok and behave like an obedient friend. It is also beyond imagination that His relational closeness could be experienced in such an absolute proximity in the heart where it is hard to find the demarcation line between you and Krishn, Whose fraternal love, in that absolute proximity, is increasing and increasing every moment, and will keep on increasing the same way forever, and you will be experiencing all of that in your heart and with every pore of your body, and your absolute experiencing ability will also absolutely increase to experience the ever-increasing, ever-new, ever-charming, and ever-exciting beauty, sweetness, charm, love, excitement and relational friendliness of your Divine beloved Krishn, and your Krishn remains with you all the time and desires to serve you by giving you His limitless love, affection, caring and protection all the time, forever.
Every aspect of such a love is beyond imagination. But that is not the end of it. In all respects, it limitlessly further deepens, sweetens, and enriches up to the maternal relationship like Mother Yashoda, and then up to the Gopis’ relationship. Furthermore, there are many classes of Gopis in Divine Vrindaban who are closer and closer to Radha, the Queen of Vrindaban, Who is the ‘life’ of Krishn. You can become one of these associates and live with Radha Krishn in Golok or Divine Vrindaban forever, only through bhakti. Carefully read these lines over and over again and you will find that your mind has accepted and understood the greatness, the sweetness and the simplicity of bhakti, and your heart is now desiring the love of Radha Krishn...

JAGADGURU SHRI KRIPALU JI MAHARAJ

In the year 1922, a Nittya-Siddh (eternally-liberated soul) descended on the earth on the auspicious night of Sharad Purnima, the full-moon night on which Lord Krishna had performed the Divine Dance Maharas some 5000 years ago. Named Ram Kripalu Tripathi by his parents, he descended in Mangarh village (near Allahabad, India) in a most respected brahman family.

From a very young age he was always absorbed in the divine bliss of Radha Krishna's love. His sublimely sweet chanting of the names, pastimes and glories of Radha Krishna transported aspiring devotees to heights of devotion hitherto unimaginable and unknown to them.

Being recognized as a divine personality with total mastery of every scripture (Vedas, Upanishads, Sutras, Ramayan, Bhagvad Gita, Puranas, Bible , Koran etc.) despite never having studied any of them he was officially declared in 1957 as “Jagadguru”. (Jagadguru means spiritual master of the entire world).

The following other titles were also bestowed upon him:
- Bhakti Yog Rasavatar - meaning Descension
of the Nectar of Divine Love.
- Nikhil-darshan-samanvaya-acharya – meaning
the supreme acharya of this age who reconciled
the philosophies of all the Darshan Shastras.
- Jagadgurutam – meaning the supreme amongst
all Jagadgurus.

Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj is only the fifth personality in the recorded history of India to be given the highest and most honorific title amongst all saints and scholars of India, that of “Jagadguru” .

He is also the only personality in recorded history to be declared as Bhakti Yog Rasavatar.

Antahkaran Suddhi:

Kripalu Sandesh

Asking God:

Kripaluji Maharaj persists that you should be tearful when you ask God for His love. Tearfully call out to God in whatever language is dear to you, but you have to shed tears. With shedding tears there is one condition: don't bring any worldly desire before God. There are two kinds of desires: bhukti, mukti. Material happiness of any kind up to Brahma’s abode is called bhukti, and attaining God is called mukti, apavarg, kaivalya, mokch. Throw both of them far away from you. They are both like demonesses. Leave anyone who is under their influence. The more dangerous of these two is mukti.

So just cry and beg Him for His Divine vision and don’t ask for the world. Don't have any pretence or deception. However you are, go like that. If you fake anything, then God will do a left about turn from you. You will have to become like an innocent child. You were all innocent at the beginning. As you got older, your elders taught you all this contrived behavior in your own home so we could deceive others. Now if you meet a Saint, you also apply your intellect there. "Is this Saint a true Saint, just a devotee, or a faker?" What is the situation of that intellect that is determining this? You can’t even tolerate hearing one word from someone. Someone said you are a donkey, a fool, lustful, angry, greedy, deluded. Your heart starts burning just from some words. Alright, so tell me, have you attained God realization? No. So then you are still under the control of maya, right? Yes. So then you are still lustful, angry, greedy, etc. Accept it! You might say, "I'm listening to what you are saying and I don’t feel lustful, angry and greedy." But after you get up, if someone shoves you, "Hey!!!" From just one action, you go crazy, even though you have the human body’s highest class of intellect. For this reason, always regard yourself as lustful, angry, greedy, and deluded. It is a fact we are like this. So why don’t we accept it? Why don't we like it?

So before God we have to become like a baby who is without artifice, hypocrisy, pretence and deceit and beg God for His love. Whatever form is pleasing to you, imagine Him in that form. Whatever name is pleasing to you, use that name. Whatever virtues, leelas, decorations are pleasing to you, imagine those. Don't be scared. Dress Him in pants and pitch a ball to him, "Come on Shyamsundar! Let’s play cricket!" Just think, if Krishn were to descend today, would His mother and father dress Him in a peetambar and send him to school? God has all the forms.

Sometimes He becomes a woman, a young boy, a young girl or so old that He has to walk with a stick. These are all His shringar. Whatever style of decoration a mother and father find pleasing, that is how they are going to dress their child. It has always been like this in every age. But whatever you like, imagine Him dressed and decorated accordingly. Do all this with your mind, because if you do external Deity worship, you will feel inadequate, "If I were a billionaire, I could decorate Shyamsundar with a $10 million diamond necklace." But you don’t have money. But why think like this?

In the Bhagwatam, eight kinds of Deity worship are described. One of these is manomay. Do it from your mind wherever you are. If you have to take a Deity from here to there and there to here – it’s a problem. And the Deity you imagine in your mind you could adorn with a $10 million diamond necklace. Whatever clothing you like, whatever decorations you prefer – you can keep on changing and without spending any money. This doesn’t make any difference to God.
