The world is described in the following manner:
“sansariti sansarah” “gacha ….”
“That which is continually moving and constantly changing is the world.” It is made of maya, which is an eternal energy of God.
“mayan ….” (Shwetashwatar Upanishad 4-20)
The Vedas state that maya is neither an illusion nor a mental confusion; it is an energy of God.
“ajamekam ….” (Veda)
“daivi hyesha ….” (Bhagavad Geeta)
“so dasee raghubir ….” (Ramayan)
These scriptural quotations describe maya as an energy of the Divine, through which He has created this world. Our minds are also made from the same maya. Thus, the material mind is naturally attracted to this material world, but feels no attraction to the Divine God.
